Marie-Therese Höbinger (born July 1, 2001 in Vienna ) is an Austrian soccer player .

Career

The midfielder began her career at ASV Hinterbrühl in a boys 'team and later moved to 1. SV Wiener Neudorf and then to the Vienna club FC Stadlau , where she was also active in boys' teams. After a friendly match for a Viennese team in Berlin , Höbinger moved to 1. FFC Turbine Potsdam at the age of 13 . With Turbines B-Juniors, she reached the final of the 2016/17 Bundesliga season , which, however, was lost to FC Bayern Munich 2-1.

In the summer of 2017, Höbinger moved up to the squad of Turbine's second team and from then on played in the 2nd Bundesliga North. At the end of the 2017/18 season , she and her team qualified for the single-track 2nd Bundesliga from 2018. A year later, Höbinger moved up into the first team's squad and made her Bundesliga debut on August 16, 2019 in Turbine's 3-2 defeat at 1. FFC Frankfurt when she came on for Luca Maria Graf .
