Rieke Dieckmann (born August 16, 1996 in Bissendorf ) is a German soccer player .

Career

societies

Dieckmann began her career at her hometown club FC Bissendorf, where she played in boys' teams up to youth level C before moving to the youth team at SV Meppen in the summer of 2011 . From the 2012/13 season she was part of the first team's squad, although she was still eligible to play for the B-Juniors. She quickly became a regular player and was used in 77 of 88 possible second division games by 2016 .

For the 2016/17 season she signed a contract with Bundesliga club Bayer 04 Leverkusen . On September 4, 2016 (1st matchday) she was used in the 2-0 home defeat against FF USV Jena until she was substituted in the 65th minute and thus celebrated her Bundesliga debut. After descending from Bayer 04 Leverkusen they left the club and joined to the season 2017/18 the MSV Duisburg on. She has been playing for 1. FFC Turbine Potsdam since the 2018/19 season .

National team

Dieckmann recommended himself for the DFB's junior team through appearances for the Lower Saxony Football Association at various national cups . She made her debut in the national jersey on October 29, 2012 for the U-17 national team as part of the European Championship qualification against the Greek selection, when she came on in the 41st minute and only one minute later scored the 1-1 final score . In September 2013, it debuted for the 19-team U- with which it in 2014 but qualifying for the year European Championship missed. Also in 2014 she was the second youngest player in the German squad for the U-20 World Cup in Canada , was in the starting line-up in all six tournament games and was world champion after a final victory against the Nigerian selection.

In 2015 she took part with the U-19 national team at the European Championship in Israel and reached the semi-finals with the team, where however, the eventual European champions from Sweden had to bow on penalties. By reaching the semi-finals, the team qualified for the U-20 World Cup 2016 in Papua New Guinea . Here Dieckmann was initially part of the German squad, sustaining a foot injury shortly before the first group game, which meant that she was canceled for the tournament.
