Caroline Siems (born May 9, 1999 in Berlin ) is a German soccer player .

Career

Caroline Siems has been in the squad of the second team of Bundesliga club 1. FFC Turbine Potsdam since the 2015/16 season . She made her first division debut on April 23, 2017 in a 0-1 home defeat against SC Freiburg . She previously learned to play football at Friedenauer TSC and in 2010 moved to FC Viktoria 1889 Berlin.

She then played three seasons in Potsdam, which were interrupted by a protracted knee injury. In 2020 she did not extend the contract against the wishes of the club. Instead, she decided to move to Aston Villa .

National team

Siems went through several youth national teams of the DFB . With the U-17 national team , she won the U-17 European Championship in Belarus in 2016 after beating the Spanish selection on penalties. On March 5, 2017, Siems made his debut against the United States in the German U-19 national team .
