Dina Sophia Orschmann (born January 8, 1998 in Berlin ) is a German soccer player and former junior selection player.
Career
societies
Orschmann started her career together with her twin sister Katja in the offspring of SFC Stern 1900 before moving to 1. FC Union Berlin in 2013 and went through several Berlin selection teams up to U-18. At Union, she completed the teams from D to B youth, before moving up to the senior team in October 2014. She made her debut in the 2nd Bundesliga on matchday 7 against VfL Bochum . She played 13 games for Union Berlin, but could not prevent relegation. After relegation to the Regionalliga Nord-Ost, Orschmann became a regular at Union and scored 22 goals in 20 games for promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga North. After scoring nine goals for Berlin in 20 games in the 2nd Bundesliga North in the 2016/17 season, she went to the USA, where she played for the University of Central Florida . On February 19, 2019, she returned to Germany and signed a six-month contract with Turbine Potsdam, where she made her DFB Cup debut against VfL Wolfsburg on March 13, 2019. Less than two months later, she made her Bundesliga debut with a 3-0 win over MSV Duisburg. On May 22, 2019, she extended her contract for the 2019/20 season at Potsdam.
National team
Orschmann made her debut for the U-17 national team on February 17, 2015 in a 4-2 win over England. Almost 4 months later, on June 16, 2015, he was appointed to the U-17 European Championship squad.
This was followed by the nomination for the 2016 U-20 Women's World Cup in Papua New Guinea with twin sister Katja , but failed with the team in the second round. Orschmann still scored the goal of the tournament with a 1-0 win against South Korea. In 2018, she took part in her second U-20 World Cup in France and lost the semi-finals 1: 3 against Japan with the team.
