The Women's U-20 Handball World Championship (officially IHF Women's Junior World Championships ) is the official handball competition of the best national teams for female handball players under the age of 20. It has been organized by the International Handball Federation (IHF) since 1977 and has taken place every two years since then.
The current U-20 women's handball world champion is Hungary . The team was able to successfully prevail in the final against the Norwegian selection in Hungary in 2018 and thus won their first world title. The next women's handball world championship will take place in Romania in 2020 .
