Madelaine Wibom (born April 28, 1971 in Stockholm ) is a Swedish-Swiss opera singer ( soprano ) and actress .

life and career

The Swedish soprano studied singing at the Stockholm Opera School and attended masterclasses with Ileana Cotrubas, Grace Bumbry, Régine Créspine, Håkan Hagegård, Barbara Bonney, Gustav Kuhn, Vera Rosza, Richard Trimborn and Margreet Honig. Madelaine Wibom was engaged in the ensemble at the Lucerne Theater from 1998 to 2012 and was awarded the Lucerne Theater's Prix Gala as a favorite singer in 2007. Her repertoire includes more than 50 games. Madelaine Wibom is married to the singer, conductor and composer Aaron Tschalèr and lives in Horw near Lucerne in Switzerland .
