Career

society

Having come to play football through her brother seven years older than her, Jasmin Sehan joined her hometown club Parchimer FC at the age of five , for which she played in the male youth team until 2013. From 2011 she had a second game right for 1. FC Neubrandenburg 04 , with whose B-Juniors she was active in the B-Juniorinnen-Bundesliga North in 2012/13 . For the 2013/14 season she was signed by the second division VfL Wolfsburg II and made her debut for them on September 8, 2013 (1st matchday) in a 1-0 win against FSV Gütersloh in 2009 . After five years in Wolfsburg, she moved to Bundesliga club SC Sand for the 2018/19 season - as did her teammates Franziska Fiebig , Lisa Schöppl and Agata Tarczyńska . On October 14, 2018 (4th matchday), she celebrated her Bundesliga debut in the 0-1 away defeat against 1. FFC Frankfurt when she came into the game for Isabelle Meyer in the 61st minute . Ten days later she was in the starting line-up for the first time in the away game at SGS Essen ; this game was also lost 0: 1.

National team

Sehan made her debut for the German U-15 national team on November 4, 2010 at the age of thirteen in a friendly against Scotland . Two days later, she scored her first three goals for the U-15 women - again against Scotland. In July 2013 she took part in the Nordic Cup on Iceland with the U-16 juniors and was able to win it after four wins from four games. With the U-17 national team , she missed qualifying for the European Championship in 2013 . Things went better in the following season: after successfully qualifying, she was part of the German squad for the U-17 European Championship in England at the end of 2013 and reached the final with her team, where she beat Spain on penalties and became European champion. Sehan was used in all five games of the German team and was the top goalscorer of the tournament with four goals scored together with the Spaniard Andrea Sánchez . In March 2014 she took part as captain at the U17 World Cup in Costa Rica. Here the German team failed in the preliminary round. After her debut for the U-19 national team , she took part in the European Championships in 2015 and 2016 . Also in 2016 she was part of the German squad for the World Cup in Papua New Guinea , where the team failed in the quarter-finals with 0-1 in the French selection.
