Andrea Sánchez Falcón (born February 28, 1997 in Arucas ) is a Spanish soccer player who has been under contract with Atlético Madrid since 2016 .

Career

Sánchez was in the squad of the second team of FC Barcelona from the 2012/13 season . In the 2013/14 season she also made her first appearances for the first team in Barcelona in the Primera División and in the UEFA Women's Champions League . At the end of the 2013/14 season, Sánchez won the championship and cup double with Barcelona and moved up to the first team of Barcelona for the following season. For the 2016/17 season she moved to cup winners Atlético Madrid .

National team

Sánchez made his debut in the Spanish U-17 national team in April 2012 and took part in the U-17 European Championship in 2014 , where Spain only failed to Germany on penalties in the final . With four goals scored, Sánchez was the tournament's most successful goalscorer together with Jasmin Sehan . On July 15, 2014, she played her first competitive game in the Spanish U-19 national team as part of the U-19 European Championship 2014 and once again reached the final there, which was lost 1-0 to the Netherlands.

With the Spanish senior team , Sánchez took part victoriously in the 2017 Algarve Cup and made two appearances during the tournament.
