Anne van Bonn (born October 12, 1985 in Geldern ) is a German soccer player .

Career

Van Bonn started her career by chance at the age of six. She accompanied her brother to a soccer tournament. Since the team did not have enough players, they were asked if they would like to play. After several years at GSV Geldern 09/34 , she moved to FCR 2001 Duisburg in 2001 . On November 4, 2001, she was used for the first time in the Bundesliga in the game against SC Freiburg . With Duisburg she reached the cup final in 2003 and 2007 and was second in the championship in 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008. For the 2011/12 season she moved to Bundesliga promoted 1. FC Lokomotive Leipzig, but where she was suspended on February 18, 2012. The defender signed a two-year contract with FSV Gütersloh 2009 on June 5, 2012 . After the Gütersloh women were relegated from the Bundesliga, they moved to SC Sand in the 2nd Bundesliga South in the summer of 2013 . With SC Sand, she was promoted to the Bundesliga in 2014 .

National team

She made her debut in the national jersey in the U-19 national team , which defeated Italy 4-0 on November 6, 2002. She also took part with the team at the European Championship held in Germany from July 25 to August 3, 2003 , was used in the two group matches against the selections of Sweden and England and was eliminated from the tournament as the bottom group. She scored her first international goal on October 27, 2004 in a 7-0 win over the Swedes with a goal of 2-1 in the 51st minute. She took part in the U-19 European Championship held in Finland from July 28 to August 8, 2004 , and finished the tournament with the team as runner-up after the final was lost 2-1 to Spain. She also took part in the U-19 World Cup , which was held in Thailand from November 10th to 27th, 2004 , and reached the final with the team, which was won 2-0 against China's selection.

After she had played 25 international matches in this age group by 2004, she made her debut on April 6, 2005 in the U-21 national team in a 4-1 victory over Denmark. For the U-23 national team , she was used in five games, for the first time on June 26, 2007 in the 1-0 victory over Norway.

After graduating from the Friedrich-Spee-Gymnasium in Geldern, van Bonn trained as a draftsman . She has now successfully completed a degree in civil engineering .
