Pia Rijsdijk (born March 25, 1992 in Rotterdam ) is a Dutch soccer player .

Career

Rijsdijk started playing football at the age of twelve with Vv SSS in Klaaswaal and switched to RVVH after five years. She then came to Ter Leede via CTO Amsterdam and came to her first assignments in the Eredivisie for its cooperation partner ADO Den Haag towards the end of the 2010/11 season . In the summer of 2011 she began studying at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa and from then on played for the local college team Alabama Crimson Tide. By the end of 2014, she was used in 61 league games, with 21 goals.

For the 2015/16 season she returned to ADO Den Haag and was able to win the KNVB Cup with her team this season; in the 1-0 final win against Ajax Amsterdam , she provided the template for Lineth Beerensteyn's winning goal . In the following season she was the top scorer of her team with ten league goals in 19 missions.

On August 24, 2017, the German Bundesliga club MSV Duisburg announced that Rijsdijk had signed up for the 2017/18 season . The striker made her Bundesliga debut on September 3, 2017 (1st matchday) in the 0-1 away defeat against SC Freiburg , and scored her first goal on October 15, 2017 (5th matchday) against 1. FFC Frankfurt when they met in the 1: 2 defeat for the interim 1-0 lead.

National team

Rijsdijk played 13 games for the Dutch U-19 national team and took part in the 2011 European Championship with them.
