Ter Leede Sassenheim
The VV Ter Leede Sassenheim is a football club based in Lisse , Netherlands .
The association was founded on April 30, 1930. While the men played in the lower leagues, the women made it into the high class . There they played very successfully and were able to win the national championship title four times. With the restructuring of Dutch women's football, the league was downgraded and the club played second class from then on. There, too, the women managed to win the title twice. A promotion to the highest league was denied to them because there was no promotion / relegation right. The club played in the UEFA Women's Cup several times , but never made it past the group stage.
