ŠKF Žilina

The ŠKF Žilina is a Slovak women's football club from Žilina .

ŠKF Žilina was founded on November 17, 1991. He has been playing in the highest Slovak women's league, the I Liga Ženy , without interruption since 2001 , but has not yet won any titles. Nevertheless, they took part in the 2001/02 UEFA Women's Cup , but where they clearly lost and eliminated all three group games. The club was sponsored by the fitness company Žirafa from 2010 to 2013 and during this time it wore the club man ŠKF Žirafa Žilina . Since 2013 the sponsor and namesake is again the hotel chain VIX, which is also namesake ( ŠKF VIX Žilina ). The sponsor name ŠKF VIX Žilina was already used from 1999 to 2006.
