Janina Madeleine Minge (born June 11, 1999 in Lindau am Bodensee ) is a German soccer player who is under contract with Bundesliga club SC Freiburg .
Career
societies
Minge started playing soccer at TSG Lindau Zech in 2002 at the age of three and moved to VfB Friedrichshafen after seven years . After another four years, she switched to FC Wangen 05 , where she played in the male B-youth team before signing with SC Freiburg for the 2015/16 season . On September 13, 2015 (3rd match day) she was part of the Bundesliga team for the first time and celebrated her on December 6, 2015 (10th matchday) in a 6-1 home win against Bayer 04 Leverkusen as a substitute for Sandra Starke at the age of 16 Debut in the Bundesliga. She scored the first goal on November 20, 2016 (9th matchday) in the 2-1 win of her team against FF USV Jena with the goal to mean 1-0.
National team
Minge played six games for the U-15 national team between April 2013 and April 2014 and scored as many goals. After three appearances for the U-16 national team in 2014, she was the second youngest player after Giulia Gwinn to join the U-17 national team for the European Championship in Iceland in 2015 . There it was used in all four tournament games and reached the semi-finals with the team, where they had to admit defeat 0: 1 to the Swiss selection. In 2016 she qualified again for the European Championship , which the team won after a 3-2 success on penalties against Spain. Minge led her team as captain on the field during the tournament . She was also part of the German squad for the U-17 World Cup in the same year and reached the quarter-finals with the team, where Spain lost 2-1. After her debut for the U-19 national team , she qualified with this national team for the 2017 European Championship , where the team failed in the semi-finals to France.
In the following year, in 2018, she was part of the U-20 national team for the World Cup in France and played in all three group games as well as the quarter-finals, which were lost 1: 3 to the eventual world champions from Japan. Minge scored the goal for the final score in this game.
