Carolin Schiewe (born October 23, 1988 in Berlin-Staaken ) is a German soccer player . The midfielder plays for the Bundesliga club SC Freiburg .
Career
Carolin Schiewe started her career at Rot-Weiß Groß Glienicke. In 2001 she moved to the 1st FFC Turbine Potsdam . From 2003 to 2005 she was the German B-Junior Champion three times in a row. In 2004 she became world champion with the U-19 national team, although she was only used in the opening game against hosts Thailand . 2006 turned out to be the most successful year of her career so far. With the club she became German champion and cup winner and with the German U-19 selection, European champion. A year later she was able to defend the European title and was elected by UEFA in the “Dream Team” of the tournament. In January 2008 she won the indoor cup for the first time . In the final against FCR 2001 Duisburg , Schiewe scored the winning goal to make it 2-1.
After two more championships and winning the Champions League , Schiewe moved to FF USV Jena for the 2010/11 season . There she immediately gained a foothold and became a regular player. On April 26, 2015, Schiewe announced her move to SC Freiburg with the start of the 2015/2016 season.
