Verena Wieder (born June 26, 2000 in Thalhofen an der Wertach ) is a German soccer player . She has been under contract with Bayer 04 Leverkusen since the 2020/21 season .
Career
societies
Again started playing football at FC Kempten at the age of 14 and was used in the C-youth in the regional league . In the following season 2015/16 she was part of the FC Memmingen squad in the Bundesliga South, but was not used. For the 2016/17 season she was signed by Bayern Munich. There she was used both for the second team in the 2nd Bundesliga South and for the first team in the UEFA Women's Champions League and the Bundesliga . In 2017, she was with the B-Juniors in the final of the German B-Junior Championship against the defending champion 1. FFC Turbine Potsdam . As a double goal scorer in the 2-1 victory at Sportpark Aschheim , she advanced to the game -winning person and secured her team the third title after 2014.
For the 2018/19 season she was signed by SC Freiburg ., She scored her first point goal in the top division on September 23, 2018 in a 4-0 win in the home game against Borussia Mönchengladbach with the 3-0 goal in the 56th minute . In January 2020, with a cruciate ligament rupture , she was out for the rest of the season.
In July 2020, Wieder moved to Bayer 04 Leverkusen for two years .
National team
