Clara Schöne (born July 6, 1993 in Graefelfing ) is a former German soccer player .

Career

Clara Schöne started playing football at the age of seven at Deutsche Jugendkraft Würmtal , stayed there until she was eleven, then moved to the Planegg-Krailling sports club and, after two seasons, in 2006, to the youth department of FC Bayern Munich.

At the age of 13 she was already on the bench on September 16, 2006 in a 14-0 win in the home game of the Bayernliga Süd game against SV Schechen . She made her debut in this division on September 22, 2006 (2nd matchday) in a 6-0 win at home against FFC Wacker Munich , when she came on for Natalie Commenter in the 78th minute . By November 10, 2007 (7th matchday), twelve more matches followed, in which, however, they remained goalless.

From March 30th to May 31st, 2008 she took part in six games for the Bavarian championship and acted once, on September 21st, 2008 in an 8-0 win in the away game against FC Ingolstadt 04 , in the regional league. After six Bayern league games from September 28 to November 15, 2008, she played again for the Bavarian Championship from March 28 to May 16, 2009. In the following twelve Bayern league games (September 12, 2009 to May 8, 2010) she scored 16 goals, including five in the last game in a 10-0 win at home against JFG Mainfranken Würzburg .

After she had played six league games in the 2nd Bundesliga South for the 2nd team from April 14 to October 3, 2010 , she played for the first time on October 10, 2010 (9th match day) in the 2-1 defeat in the away game against the Hamburger SV in the Bundesliga . It was also used three times in the DFB Cup in 2010/11 . At the end of the season, on May 28, 2012 (22nd matchday), she scored her first Bundesliga goal in a 4-1 win in the home game against Hamburger SV with the goal to make it 1-0 in the 27th minute.

On June 1, 2014, she announced her departure at the end of the 2013/2014 season and was bid farewell with nine other players at Sportpark Aschheim before the women's last home game. After eight years at Bayern Munich , she announced her move to league rivals SC Freiburg on June 18, 2014 .

At the beginning of July 2020, Schöne ended her active career due to knee problems .

National team

Schöne made her debut in the U-19 national team on February 23, 2011 in Nettetal in a 2-0 win over the national team of the Netherlands, when she came on for Nadine Rolser in the second half. With the U-19 national team, she also played three games in the second qualifying round for the U-19 European Championship , whose final round, however, after the two 2-0 victories against the national teams of Poland on March 31, 2012 in Eskilstuna and Northern Ireland on March 2.
