Josephine Schlanke (born March 19, 1988 in Luckenwalde ) is a former German soccer player . The defender was most recently under contract with 1. FFC Turbine Potsdam . She has been an assistant trainer there since the 2017/18 season.

Career

Josephine Schlanke began her career at SV 1813 Dennewitz , a small town near Jüterbog . In 2002 she moved to the 1st FFC Turbine Potsdam. With the B-Juniors she was three times German champion . Between 2005 and 2008 she was part of the first team's squad and played 23 Bundesliga games during that time . Since 2008, she has played exclusively for Turbine's second team, with whom she was champions of the 2nd Bundesliga North in the 2011/12 and 2013/14 seasons .

In 2006 she became European champion with the U-19 national team . At the U-20 World Cup in the same year, it was already in the quarter-finals. Since the 2014/15 season she has been the assistant coach of the U17 team at 1. FFC Turbine Potsdam. With the start of the 2017/18 season, she will take on the role of assistant coach for the 1st team.
