Kyra Malinowski (born January 20, 1993 in Bochum ) is a German soccer player . The striker is not currently under contract with any club.
Career
societies
Malinowski began her career at the Schwarz-Weiß Eppendorf club , where she played in a boys' team until she was C-youth. For the 2008/09 season she moved to SG Wattenscheid 09 and played in the women's second division . After only one year in Wattenscheid, she moved to the Bundesliga club SG Essen-Schönebeck. On September 20, 2009, she made her debut in the 3-0 defeat by Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga. On March 13, 2011, Malinowski tore a cruciate ligament in the league game against 1. FFC Turbine Potsdam , which meant she was out for a year. On March 25, 2012, she made her comeback in the Bundesliga against Turbine Potsdam. Unfortunately, the striker remained loyal to her injuries, only a little later she suffered another cruciate ligament rupture in the DFB country cup.
After two cruciate ligament tears in a row, she had to stop trying to return to training in mid-April 2013. Nobody wants to pronounce the word “end of career” at SGS Essen, but it looks like a much longer career break.
National team
Malinowski won the European Championship in 2009 with the German U-17 national team . At the finals in Swiss Nyon was the tournament with eight hits tournament top scorer. In the final against Spain, Malinowski scored five goals alone. With the U-17 selection, the striker also took part in the 2010 World Cup in Trinidad and Tobago, where she finished second on the list of goalscorers with seven goals.
With the German U-19 national team , Malinowski took part in the 2010 European Championship in Macedonia and reached the semi-finals.
On September 7, 2010 she was awarded the Fritz Walter Medal in bronze by the DFB as Young Player of the Year.
