Tarek Boukensa

Tarek Boukensa ( Arabic طارق بوكنسة; * November 19, 1981 in Annaba ) is an Algerian middle-distance runner who specializes in the 1500-meter course .

The fifth at the African Championships in 2002 was eliminated at the 2003 World Championships in Paris / Saint-Denis in the semi-finals and at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens in the preliminary stages.

At the World Championships in Helsinki in 2005 he was eighth, at the 2006 African Championships in Bambous he won the bronze medal, and at the 2007 World Championships in Osaka he was fifth.

In 2008 he reached the semi-finals at the Olympic Games in Beijing , and at the 2009 World Championships in Berlin he was eliminated in the preliminary stages.
