Rachel Miriam Marcia Free Rinast (born June 2, 1991 in Bad Segeberg ) is a German soccer player who has both German and Swiss citizenship. She mostly plays as a left full-back.
Career
societies
Rinast played in the 2007/08 season for the second division promoted FFC Oldesloe 2000 and came there to five missions in which she scored a goal. In the summer of 2008 she moved to the regional league team TSV Nahe, with whom she won the SHFV Women's State Cup in May 2009. For the 2009/10 season she joined the second division Holstein Kiel , in which she completed 17 league games and the two final relegation games against FFC Wacker Munich to stay in the second highest division in German women's football. For the 2010/11 season she moved to the league competitor 1. FC Köln , where she was used in a total of 41 games in two years. In summer 2012 she moved to Bundesliga club SC 07 Bad Neuenahr , with whom she made her Bundesliga debut on September 23, 2012 . After the bankruptcy of SC 07 in June 2013, she left the club and returned to 1. FC Köln, with whom she was promoted to the Bundesliga one year later as the undefeated champions of the 2. Bundesliga South after the runner-up in the 2013/14 season succeeded. After Cologne's direct relegation, Rinast signed a contract with Bayer 04 Leverkusen for the 2016/17 season . After a season in which she was relegated from the Bundesliga with Bayer Leverkusen, Rinast moved to Switzerland for FC Basel . From here she moved to SC Freiburg in 2018 . After only five games, she left SC Freiburg at her own request in January 2019. She then moved to the Israeli club ASA Tel-Aviv FC until the end of the season . The reason she gave was that she could no longer identify with the structures of German women's football. On June 18, 2019, she returned to 1. FC Köln after a 3-year absence .
National team
On March 1, 2015, Rinast was appointed to the Swiss national team for the first time by coach Martina Voss-Tecklenburg for the Algarve Cup , where she made her debut in the national jersey on March 4, 2015 in the first group match against Iceland . She was also part of the Swiss squad at the World Cup in Canada in the summer of 2015 and reached the round of 16 with the team, where they had to admit defeat to the hosts 1-0. Rinast was in the starting line-up both in the three group matches and in the round of 16.
