Antonio Marino (born March 13, 1942 in Buenos Aires ) is an Argentine clergyman and emeritus Roman Catholic Bishop of Mar del Plata .

Life

Antonio Marino was ordained a priest on November 12, 1971 .

Pope John Paul II appointed him titular bishop of Basti and auxiliary bishop in La Plata on April 11, 2003 . The Archbishop of La Plata, Héctor Rubén Aguer , gave him episcopal ordination on May 31 of the same year; Co- consecrators were Estanislao Esteban Karlic , Archbishop of Paraná , and Mario José Serra , Auxiliary Bishop in Buenos Aires .

On April 6, 2011 Pope Benedict XVI appointed him . to the Bishop of Mar del Plata. The solemn inauguration ( enthronement ) took place on June 4th of the same year.

Pope Francis accepted his age-related resignation on July 18, 2017.
