César Daniel Fernández (born October 20, 1954 in Buenos Aires ) is Bishop of Jujuy .

Life

The Archbishop of Buenos Aires , Cardinal Juan Carlos Aramburu , ordained him on November 14, 1980 .

Pope Benedict XVI appointed him on September 20, 2007 titular bishop of Caltadria and auxiliary bishop in Paraná . The Archbishop of Paraná, Mario Luis Bautista Maulión , donated him episcopal ordination on November 30th of the same year; Co- consecrators were Eduardo Vicente Mirás , Archbishop Emeritus of Rosario , and Mario Aurelio Poli , Auxiliary Bishop in Buenos Aires.

On August 25, 2011, he was called to be Apostolic Administrator of Jujuy. On June 7, 2012, Benedict XVI appointed him. to the Bishop of Jujuy. The solemn inauguration ( enthronement ) took place on August 6 of the same year.
