The FFC Oldesloe 2000 was a women's football club from Bad Oldesloe . The association was founded on January 29, 2000 and dissolved on June 30, 2014. The first team played in the 2nd Bundesliga North for six years .

history

The club was founded on January 29, 2000 with the aim of promoting and developing women's and girls' football in Bad Oldesloe. In 2003, the team was promoted to the Schleswig-Holstein Association League and immediately made it through to the Regionalliga Nord. In the same year, the Schleswig-Holstein Cup was won. As a newcomer, the team finished second behind Holstein Kiel . In the DFB-Pokal they were unhappy with a 2: 4 defeat against TuS Köln rrh. in the first round. In early 2007 the club won the Schleswig-Holstein indoor championship. After the team had occupied fourth place in the Regionalliga Nord in the 2005/06 season, the next promotion succeeded in the following season. On April 15, 2007, the club won the championship prematurely after a 3-0 win over TSV Nahe and was promoted to the 2nd Bundesliga. On May 17, 2007, the team won the Schleswig-Holstein State Cup with a 9-1 win at TuRa Meldorf .

As a result, the FFC played in the 2nd Bundesliga, but without reaching top table positions. On June 17, 2011, a cooperation agreement was signed between VfB Lübeck and FFC Oldesloe, which was initially limited to twelve months. The aim of this agreement was to check and prepare for the full integration of the FFC among the green-whites for the 2012/13 season within the next twelve months. The cooperation agreement stipulated that the 1st team of FFC Oldesloe played in the colors green and white of VfB Lübeck, but continued to play under the name FFC Oldesloe. The lettering FFC Oldesloe was still on the back of the jerseys and the coat of arms of the cooperation partner VfB Lübeck was on the left upper arm.

The reasons for this cooperation were diverse. Women's football became more and more important. VfB Lübeck now wanted to actively open up to this development. The cooperation gave the FFC Oldesloe the opportunity to meet the steadily increasing demands of the DFB on the game operations of the 2nd Bundesliga. This would not have been guaranteed to the same extent in Bad Oldesloe. With the cooperation, the board of the FFC Oldesloe pursued the goal of giving women's and girls' football in Schleswig-Holstein a long-term positive development at the top of the sport and to further improve the organizational framework. The existing forces were bundled, the athletic competence and organizational strength of VfB Lübeck and FFC Oldesloe should complement each other positively.

The 2011/12 season was financed primarily from the income of the FFC and, in addition, from sponsorship acquired by VfB Lübeck especially for women's football. This cooperation did not put any additional financial burden on VfB Lübeck. The games of the first women's team of the FFC Oldesloe were played in the Buniamshof stadium, and two top games were to take place on the Lohmühle , the stadium of VfB Lübeck . The team continued to train in the upcoming season in the Oldesloer Kurparkstadion, in which the regional league team and the junior women's teams of the FFC Oldesloe continued to play. A 1: 3 home defeat one match day before the end of the season sealed the club's relegation to the third division.

Before the start of the 2013/14 regional league season, the team was withdrawn. The association was finally dissolved on June 30, 2014. The members joined VfL Oldesloe .
