Career

societies

Van der Gragt started playing football at VV Reiger Boys , which was based in her birthplace, and continued with the Kolping Boys before she was signed by the first division club AZ Alkmaar at the age of 17 . In two seasons she was only used seven times in the league game and once in the sixteenth finals of the Champions League 2009/10 , in which she was eliminated with the team after a return match with 2: 3 against Brøndby IF from the competition. AZ Alkmaar's withdrawal from the Eredivisie due to financial problems caused her to switch to SC Telstar VVNH . For the club she completed 86 point games in four seasons, in which she scored 13 goals. For the 2015/16 season she was signed by the first division club FC Twente , for whom she scored two goals in 21 games.

For the 2016/17 season she was signed by the German champions FC Bayern Munich , who provided her with a contract that ran until June 30, 2018. She made her competitive debut on September 10, 2016 (2nd matchday) in a 1-0 win in the Bundesliga away game against FF USV Jena . At the end of the 2016/17 season she was adopted after just one season for FC Bayern Munich. She signed with Ajax Amsterdam on June 16, 2017 . She made her debut on September 3, 2017 (1st matchday) in a 2-0 home win against Archilles '29; She scored her first goal on October 27, 2017 (6th matchday) in a 2-0 win in the away game against AZ Alkmaar with the opening goal in stoppage time in the first half. On June 4, 2018, she followed Lieke Martens to FC Barcelona . With Barcelona she reached the final of the 2018/19 UEFA Women's Champions League in May 2019 , but lost it 4-1 to defending champions Olympique Lyon . After two years in Spain, van der Gragt is returning to Ajax Amsterdam for the 2020/21 season.

National teams

With the U-17 team van der Gragt took part in the qualification for the European Championship 2008 . After the first round in Poland , she qualified with the selection team together with the hosts for the second round. In the second round in the Czech Republic , the young English women were stronger. In October she took part again with the U-17 team in the qualification for the U-17 European Championship 2009 and reached the second round in Turkey . In the second round held in March 2009, the young French women were stronger. For van der Gragt, this ended his time in the U-17 Elftal. A month later she took part with the U-19 team in the second round of qualifying for the U-19 European Championship 2009 , but failed in the Swiss national team. In September 2009 the U-19 started a new attempt and used the home advantage at the mini-tournament to qualify for the second round together with Poland. In the second round, in which the team qualified for the finals, it was not used. At the finals in Macedonia , she reached the semi-finals with the team against the selection of England. Since both teams could not score a goal, the penalty shoot-out had to decide on the final: van der Gragt was the last Dutch woman to convert her penalty, but since her team-mate Siri Worm had not been successful while all the English scored, the Oranjes were eliminated. In September she took part again in the first round of qualification for the U-19 European Championship 2011 and qualified together with the Norwegian hosts for the second round. For van der Gragt, however, the time in the U-19 age group ended.

On March 8, 2013 van der Gragt wore the jersey of the national team of the Dutch Football Association for the first time at the Cyprus Cup 2013 in the group match against the Swiss team . It was also used in the game for 5th place against the selection of Scotland . However, she was not nominated for the EM 2013. In 2014 she was used in the first World Cup qualifier of the year against Belgium and also in the tournament for the Cyprus Cup 2014 , in which she was used in two group games and the game for 9th place. After that she was a regular player and was used in all subsequent qualifying games for the 2015 World Cup. In September 2014, the World Cup qualification was finished in second place behind Norway's selection . The Dutch women therefore had to play in the qualifying games of the four best runners-up in the group and prevailed against the selections of Scotland and Italy , which meant they qualified for the World Cup for the first time. In the tournament for the Cyprus Cup 2015 , the qualifying performances could not be confirmed and they lost, for example, the game for 7th place against the selection of Scotland, against which they had been able to prevail in the World Cup playoffs. On April 15, 2015 she was initially appointed to the provisional squad, and on May 10 to the final squad for the 2015 World Cup . At the World Cup, she was used in the four games of the Dutch women, where she did not miss a minute, but was eliminated after a 1: 2 defeat against Japan in the round of 16.

At the 2017 European Championship at home , she played in all six of her team's games, starting four times and playing over 90 minutes in the final against Denmark .

In the subsequent qualification for the 2019 World Cup , she was used in six group games and scored two goals. As group runner-up, the Dutch had to go to the playoffs, where they were not used. Your team could then secure the last European World Cup ticket. At the World Cup, she was used in the group game against New Zealand and the four games of the knockout round and scored the goal in the quarter-finals against Italy to make it 2-0. The Dutch women qualified for the Olympic Games for the first time and then reached the final, where they lost 2-0 to defending champions USA .
