Lieke Elisabeth Petronella Martens (born December 16, 1992 in Nieuw Bergen ) is a Dutch soccer player who plays by storm and has been with FC Barcelona since 2017/18 .

Lieke Martens previously played in various clubs, including SC Heerenveen , VVV-Venlo , Standard Liège , FCR 2001 Duisburg , Koppardbergs / Göteborg FC and FC Rosengård . She won the Belgian Championship ( 2012 ) and the BeNe Super Cup (2011) with Standard Liège . With FC Rosengård, Martens won both the Svenska Cupen (2015/16) and the Svenska Supercupen (2016). Lieke Martens started playing football at RKVV Montagnards at the age of five and, on the advice of trainer Vera Pauw , switched to Olympia '18 from Boxmeer at the age of 13 . Later she also joined the selection team at the Hogeschool van Amsterdam . In the summer of 2009, the then 16-year-old went to SC Heerenveen in the Premier League, the top Dutch women's division. She played 18 games, scored two goals and finished last with the team in the ranking. In the summer of 2010 she moved to VVV-Venlo, for whom she scored nine goals in 20 games.

After just one season, she moved to Belgium to Standard Liège, with whom she won the championship after her first season.

In January 2012 she signed the German Bundesliga club FCR 2001 Duisburg, for whom she made her Bundesliga debut on September 23, 2012, the 3rd matchday, in the 4-0 defeat in the home game against 1.
