First class (women)
The Eerste Klasse was the top division in Belgian women's football . It was replaced for the 2012/13 season by a joint league with the Netherlands, the BeNe League .
mode
The first class consisted of 14 teams. In the course of a season, each team met each other twice. The champions qualified for the UEFA Women's Champions League . The bottom of the table was relegated directly to the Tweede class, while the penultimate had to complete a relegation against the vice-champion of the Tweede class.
