The Moldovan Women's Football Championship has been held since 1996. Six clubs took part at the start. The champions became the team FC Codru Chișinău . So far, very little is known about the clubs and their developments and renaming. Record winner with seven titles is the FC Codru Chișinău, which in the meantime also played under the name FC Codru Anenii Noi .
