The Federația Moldovenească de Fotbal (FMF) is the Moldovan football association . He is based in Chișinău .
The FMF is responsible for the organization of football in the Republic of Moldova and is therefore responsible, among other things, for the Moldovan national football team . He is also the host of the highest Moldovan league Divizia Națională , the Moldovan Cup and the Moldovan Supercup . 6734 footballers are organized in the association, 521 of them are professionals.
The Football Association of Moldova was founded shortly before the country's independence in 1990 and joined UEFA three years later . A year later, the association also became a member of FIFA .
