The Latvijas Futbola federācija (LFF) is the Latvian football association.
The Football Association of Latvia was founded after independence in 1921 and joined FIFA the following year . During the time of the Soviet occupation after World War II, the association was dissolved and, after regaining independence in 1991, it became a member of FIFA again and, for the first time, UEFA .
