The Fudbalski savez Srbije (FSS) ( Serbian - Cyrillic Фудбалски савез Србије ; "Serbian Football Association") is the umbrella organization of the Serbian football associations . It was founded on April 18, 1919, has its headquarters in the capital Belgrade and is a member of FIFA and UEFA . As the national soccer association, the FSS organizes the Serbian national soccer teams and appoints the national coach.

After the collapse of socialist Yugoslavia in 1992, a new Yugoslavia was founded, which consisted of the republics of Serbia and Montenegro . She kept the name of Yugoslavia until 2003 when the country changed its name to Serbia and Montenegro . This union lasted until 2006. The Football Association of Montenegro (FSCG) left the joint Football Association of Serbia and Montenegro (FSSCG) after the independence of both republics. Thus, the Serbian Football Association has been independent since 2006, taking over the seat in FIFA and UEFA as well as the points in the UEFA five-year ranking. The FSS carried out the qualification for the European Football Championship in 2008 for the first time under this name.

Competitions

As of the 2006/07 season, all football competitions in Serbia will be organized and carried out by the Serbian Football Association. The competitions are divided as follows:
