The Eesti Jalgpalli Liit (EJL) is the Estonian football association . He is based in Tallinn .

The EJL is responsible for the organization of football in Estonia and is therefore responsible, among other things, for the Estonian national football team . He is also the host of the highest Estonian leagues Meistriliiga and Esiliiga , as well as the Estonian Cup .

The Estonian Football Association was founded three years after independence in 1921 and joined FIFA two years later . During the time of the Soviet occupation after the Second World War, the association was dissolved and in 1992, after regaining independence, it became a member of FIFA again and, for the first time, UEFA .
