The Malta Football Association (MFA) is the Maltese football association.

The Football Association of Malta was founded in 1900, but it did not join FIFA until 1959 and UEFA a year later . The Maltese national football team has been taking part in official international matches since 1972 . Since 1974 Malta has played regularly in European and World Cup qualifications.

The association takes care of the organization of the Maltese Football League, the Maltese Premier League and the women's national team . The association also administers all youth national teams (U17, U19, U21 ), as well as the Maltese national football team .
