The Kıbrıs Türk Futbol Federasyonu (KTFF) is the football association of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus . The Kıbrıs Türk Futbol Federasyonu was founded in 1955, already at the time of British colonial rule. Today, football is one of the most popular sports in the country in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. There is a K ~ Pet Super League, 1st League and 2nd League, as well as several sub-leagues.

As the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus is not recognized internationally, the KTFF cannot be a member of FIFA and UEFA . Instead, it is a member of CONIFA , an umbrella organization of independent football associations and was also a member of its predecessor, the NF Board . The national soccer team of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus takes part in tournaments of CONIFA (or before that of the NF board).

The greatest successes were a final participation in the Viva World Cup of the NF board in 2012 and a final participation in the CONIFA world football championship in 2018 . In 2012 the national soccer team lost in the final against the selection of the Autonomous Region of Kurdistan , in 2018 it lost in the final against the soccer selection of the Carpathian Ukraine .
