Viva World Cup
The Viva World Cup was a soccer world championship, intended for regional and popular selections as well as countries that are not members of FIFA . The event was hosted by the Nouvelle Fédération Board (NF Board) between 2006 and 2012.
The first tournament took place in November 2006 in Occitania . The Turkish Northern Cyprus , which was originally intended as the organizer, withdrew its candidacy due to political pressure and disagreements with the organizing NF board - and instead organized the ELF Cup . The second cup was held in July 2008 in Gällivare in the Swedish part of Sápmi , the third in July 2009 in Padania .
Cup
The Viva World Cup trophy was designed by the French sculptor Gérard Pigault . It bears the name Nelson Mandela Cup .
