The national football team of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus is a football selection of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus that is not recognized by the football associations UEFA and FIFA and can therefore not take part in UEFA and FIFA tournaments. The national team of North Cyprus is set up by the North Cyprus Football Association, the Kıbrıs Türk Futbol Federasyonu . The national soccer team has existed since 1962 and played its first international match in the same year.
The Kıbrıs Türk Futbol Federasyonu is a member of CONIFA , the Football Union of Independent Football Associations that are not members of FIFA. Accordingly, the national soccer team of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus is entitled to start in all tournaments organized by CONIFA, including the CONIFA European soccer championship , which takes place every two years and which alternates with the CONIFA world soccer championship , which is also organized every two years.

On May 29, 2006, the North Cypriot selection carried out several games against teams such as Zanzibar and Greenland as part of the FIFI Wild Cup in Hamburg, all of which they won. As the host team of the ELF Cup in Northern Cyprus, the Northern Cypriots won their second title in 2006. In 2017, the Republic of Northern Cyprus hosted the CONIFA European Football Championship, during which the national team took second place.
