Lao de Football Federation

The Fédération Lao de Football , better known internationally as the Lao Football Federation ( LFF ), is the national football association of the Southeast Asian state of Laos . It was founded in 1951 in the Kingdom of Laos and was accepted as a member of the world football association FIFA the following year . It was not accepted into the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) until 1980. In the 1990s, the association also joined the ASEAN Football Federation .

The association organizes the national soccer competitions ( Lao League ) and the games of the national team . Minister Bountiem Phissamay was president of the association for a long time before he was replaced by Phouvanh Vongsouthi . This was again replaced in autumn 2010 by Viphet Sihachakr .
