The Philippine Football Federation ( PFF ) is the football association of the Philippines .
history
The Philippine Football Federation was founded in 1907 and joined FIFA in 1930 . After joining the AFC in 1954, he joined the AFF in 1984 as one of the founding members.
Filipino football has a long history that goes back to the beginning of the 20th century. Since the United States took control of the island nation after the Spanish rule over the country , football was increasingly sidelined and sports such as basketball became more popular. This has not changed for a long time, but in recent years football has experienced a boom again, not least due to the sporting successes of the Philippine national team .
