The Fédération Libanaise de Football Association ( Arabic الاتحاد اللبناني لكرة القدم, DMG al-Ittiḥād al-lubnānī li-kurat al-qadam ) is the football association of Lebanon .

history

The Fédération Lebanaise was founded in 1933 under the leadership of Pierre Gemayel and Hussein Sajaan. The Maronite Christian and the Sunni Muslim traveled together to the 1936 Summer Olympics at the head of a delegation not supported by the colonial authorities at the time . Football clubs in the Arab world served as important places for Arab nationalism at that time.

The association has been a member of FIFA since 1936 . The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) joined the Fédération Libanaise de Football Association in 1964.

The current President is Hachem Haydar (2010) and the administration is located in the Bristol Radwan Center in Beirut .

organization

The association organizes the games and the support for the national soccer team as well as the national U-23 soccer team, the U-20 soccer team and the national U-17 soccer team. Organizational support is also provided for the Lebanese national futsal team .
