Bountiem Phissamay

Bountiem Phissamay (* in Laos ) is a Laotian politician , scientist , economist and football official .

Phissamay is a member of the Lao National Assembly , directly under incumbent Lao Prime Minister Bouasone Bouphavanh , and a member of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party , the only political party in Laos. Born in Lao, he also works as an economist in the Science, Technology and Environment Agency (STEA) based in the Lao capital Vientiane . Phissamay is currently also the President of the Agency. In addition to his doctorate, he also has the title of professor and the honorary title of excellence due to his work . In addition to his political activities, Phissamay is also involved in football and was among other things President of the Lao Football Federation , the Laotian football association, until he was replaced by Phouvanh Vongsouthi .
