Cypriot football cup
The Cypriot Football Cup ( Greek Κύπελλο Κύπρου Kypello Kyprou, Turkish Kıbrıs Kupası ) has been the highest football cup competition in the Republic of Cyprus since 1934 . It currently bears the official name Cyprus Coca Cola Cup after the soft drink Coca-Cola . The competition is organized by the Cyprus Football Association (CFA). The cup started in the same year as the First Division of the First Division in Cyprus . From the first round to the semi-finals (the first four rounds), the games are played in the home and return legs. The final takes place in a neutral place and is decided in one game.
The current cup winner (2019) is AEK Larnaca . APOEL Nicosia is the record winner of the trophy with 21 cup victories.
