The Bikar Karla ( German men's cup competition ) is the cup competition for Icelandic football club teams that has been held since 1960. The official name is after the sponsor, the American credit card company VISA , VISA Bikar Karla . The winner of the final automatically qualifies for participation in the UEFA Europa League . The cup final has been held in the Icelandic national stadium Laugardalsvöllur in the capital Reykjavík since 1973 .
The current title holder (2019) is Víkingur Reykjavík . The record winner is KR Reykjavík with 14 titles .
