Montenegrin football cup

The Montenegrin Football Cup ( Serbo-Croatian Crnogorski fudbalski kup / Црногорски фудбалски куп ) is the highest football cup competition in Montenegro . After almost 90 years of belonging to Yugoslavia , the south-eastern European country gained independence in 2006 after separating from Serbia and Montenegro . The Montenegrin football association Fudbalski savez Crne Gore (FSCG), founded on June 28, 2006, is responsible for the implementation of the competition. The cup winner receives a place in the second qualifying round of the UEFA Europa League if they have not already qualified for the UEFA Champions League . The previous finals were played in the stadium pod Goricom with 17,000 seats.
The current title holder (2019) is FK Budućnost Podgorica .
