The FK Mogren Budva is a Montenegrin football club from the coastal town of Budva . Mogren Budva was founded in 1920. The club plays its home games in the Lugova stadium.

history

After the independence of Montenegro in 2006 FK Mogren became a founding member of the Prva Crnogorska Liga , the country's top division. In the first season, they finished 5th. In 2008 they finished 3rd in the championship, in the same year the club won its first title with the Montenegrin Cup . 2008/09 they made their debut in the UEFA Cup , where the team was eliminated in the first qualifying round against Hapoel Ironi Kirjat Schmona . The first leg ended 1: 1. However, the second leg was lost 3-0.

In the 2008/09 season, FK Mogren won its first championship title. In the qualification for the Champions League 2009/10 he prevailed in the first round against Hibernians Paola before he was eliminated by FC Copenhagen . With a 3rd place in the 2009/10 championship, the team qualified for the 2010/11 Europa League , where they defeated UE Santa Coloma in the first qualifying round and then eliminated against Maccabi Tel Aviv .

In the 2010/11 season, FK Mogren won their second championship title in the last round.
