The San Marino Football Cup , ( Italian: Coppa Titano ), is the national cup competition for club teams in San Marino . The competition was first played in 1937. While the cup was only rarely played at the beginning (1937, 1950, 1954 and 1958 to 1961), the Coppa Titano has been held regularly since 1965 and annually since 1974.
The record winner is AC Libertas with eleven titles. Officially, the Coppa Titano has only been the national cup of San Marino since the establishment of the Campionato Sammarinese di Calcio in 1985, but all previous titles are considered equivalent. The Coppa Titano is carried out by the Federazione Sammarinese Giuoco Calcio (FSGC), the San Marinese football association.
The cup winner is entitled to play in the first qualifying round for the UEFA Europa League .
