The SP Tre Penne (completely: Società Polisportiva Tre Penne ) is a football club from the city of San Marino .
history
The SP Tre Penne was founded in 1956 and has the club colors white and blue. Tre Penne currently plays in league group B of the San Marinese football championship and won the championship title for the first time in the 2011/12 season. As a result, the club took part in qualifying for the 2012/13 UEFA Champions League . In the first round, Tre Penne played against the Luxembourg champions F91 Dudelange , but lost 7-0 in the first leg in Luxembourg and 4-0 in the second leg in San Marino.
He successfully defended his title in the 2012/13 season .
On July 9, 2013, the club achieved the first victory of a San Marino club team in the history of the UEFA Champions League . They won the second leg of the first qualifying round against FC Shirak Gyumri from Armenia 1-0 at home. But since they lost the first leg in Armenia 3-0, they were eliminated with an aggregate result of 3-1.
