The FC Santa Coloma is an Andorran football club from Andorra la Vella . Because of its main sponsor, the construction company Pidasa Serveis , the club is officially called Pidasa FC Santa Coloma .

history

The club is Andorran record champions with eleven championship titles. They also won the Copa Constitució , the Andorran Cup , ten times - most recently in 2018 when they defeated UE Sant Julià 2-1.

The victory against Maccabi Tel Aviv (1-0) in the first qualifying round of the 2007/08 UEFA Cup was a major success for the club and for Andorran football as a first win in an international competition. The sensation of reaching the next round did not succeed, however, as the second leg was lost 4-0.

On July 1, 2014, FC Santa Coloma won their second European Cup victory, this time in the UEFA Champions League . They defeated FC Banants Yerevan from Armenia 1-0 in the first leg of the first qualifying round and reached the second qualifying round after a 2: 3 defeat in the second leg due to the away goals rule . The decisive goal to make it 2: 3 was scored in stoppage time by goalkeeper Eloi Casals . In the second qualifying round, Santa Coloma met Maccabi Tel Aviv, the club against which they won their first European win in 2007. Here the Andorrans lost 0: 1 and 0: 2.
