The SS Cosmos (completely: Società Sportiva Cosmos ) is a football club from Serravalle in San Marino . Cosmos currently plays in league group B of the San Marinese football championship .

history

The SS Cosmos was founded in 1979 and has the club colors green-yellow. The name of the club is derived from the North American club New York Cosmos .

In the 2000/01 season Cosmos won the San Marinese championship for the first time and qualified for the qualification for the 2001/02 UEFA Cup . There they were defeated by the Austrian club SK Rapid Wien with 0: 1 and 0: 2. Cosmos also won the cup competition four times and the Supercup three times .
