After this season he rose with his team to Serie A , the 1994/95 season should come up for him with a similar number of appearances.

He then moved to Fiorentina on a free transfer within the league , for which he played a total of 54 times. In the 1995/96 season he won the Coppa Italia with the Fiorentina under Claudio Ranieri and later the Italian Super Cup .

For the 1997/98 season , Lorenzo Amoruso moved to the Glasgow Rangers in Scotland for the equivalent of around 6 million euros , with whom he became champions for the first time in the following season in the newly founded Scottish Premier League under coach Dick Advocaat .
