The SS Folgore / Falciano was founded in 1972 and has the club colors red-yellow-black.

In the 1996/97 season Folgore / Falciano won the San Marinese championship for the first time and was able to defend this title a year later. After a runner-up, the third championship title was achieved in the 1999/2000 season and Folgore / Falciano became the first San-Marinese team to qualify for a UEFA competition, as the member association was first admitted to participate in 2000. In qualifying for the 2000/01 UEFA Cup , Folgore / Falciano then had to admit defeat after two clear defeats against FC Basel with a total of 1:12 goals. Folgore / Falciano also won the San Marinese Supercup twice and once, in 2015, the Coppa Titano , the San Marinese cup competition.
