The Slovenian Football Cup ( Slovenian : Pokal Nogometne zveze Slovenije ) bears the official name Hervis Pokal Slovenije after the sporting goods retailer Hervis. After Slovenia's independence from the SFR Yugoslavia in 1991, the cup competition started as the successor to the Yugoslav soccer cup Kup Maršala Tita with the 1991/92 season. The Slovenian football association Nogometna zveza Slovenije (NZS), which also organizes the first division, is responsible for the event .
The record winner is NK Maribor with nine cup triumphs.
